Purchases ~ A Few Cheap Book Finds (Mostly Fantasy)

'Last month I came across a few nice book bargains I want to share here. I found 3 cheap books so far. Let's take a quik look.'

'First book is by Karin Slaughter, and I picked this up for only €1. It's a second handed book in a good condition. It didn't torn apart, or looks cracked. This book is the one I'm currently reading and I like it so far.'

'Then two fantasy books by authors James Clemens and Robert Jordan. The James Clemens one, Banned And The Banished 4 Wit'ch Gate, had I a while ago on this <whishlist>, and so far I don't regret buying this book, cause the store where I found it for €3,99 was the week after bankrupt. Now still trying to find the second book in this serie. The Robert Jordan one, The Great Hunt, is also part of an serie and it's the second book of the serie The Wheel Of Time. I got it also second handed for €1 and this copy is in an ridiculous good condition. Very happy with those new books.'
'For the record, these copy's are in Dutch.'

(Nail Art) Prizes/ Giveaways ~ My New Bag and More Books

'I got a few things this month out of an Dutch Giveaway Facebookpage. People give the stuff for free away there, using the drawing - a - lot method. I won a nice couple of useful things there, like this black bag by Daniel Ray. Oh how I desperately needed a bag. I'm glad I got this one for free.'

'I also won a few books. Always nice to read, right. First book is from an international author, but not an American or Britisch author. Her name is Karin Fossum. The other copy is one by Adam Fawer, and I believe this one is his debut. Well, I get joy out of these one for sure.'

Purchases ~ Books From The Book Festival In June

'It's been a while back when I purchased two books for €4 a piece at the Book Festival. Reason for not posting this earlier is because of being busy with book reviews in general. Therefore I finished allready reading the book from Douglas Preston & Mario Spezi, The Monster Of Florence. The book by Katherine Howe, The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane do I read at the moment, but it doesn't go fast, cause I got a few books with a deadline and I need to read those for reviews now. My language I read is mostly Dutch. But these books I purchased a while ago, and now I had to share them here.'

Purchases ~ Almost Free Books From Preston&Child

'Because of doing questionnaires for a Dutch research company, I got a few coupons which I could use on bol.com, a Dutch webshop for books, cd's, dvd's and since an very short time also beauty related items.
I saved for €19 coupons in total. The first order was free, the second order was €0,94. I better had to combine my order, but the last €8 coupon didn't came earlier, and I thought they did forget to send it to me. So I basicly throw €1,99 shipping away. Still, I don't have to complain. €0,94 isn't that bad for a couple of books, if you devise that normally one pocket like these two is €7,95 a piece. Anyway. I can't wait to read these babies.'

WishLists ~ SJM's Birthday Wishes 2013

'My birthday is around the corner, so I want to share with you a few wishes I have. This list is to give you guys and girls an idea of what I wish. And for my loyal readers is this an idea for if you are in Holland once in a while. Cause some things you can't probably buy in your own country.'

'I know I know. I do have an seperated wishlist for the newest Catrice Ultimate Laquers <here>, but I had to share a few colors I really like. Since I'm on a nailpolish diet, it's better not to ask only Catrice Nailpolishes, right? So I limited myself to a few. Only a few. They are sold in Holland at Dutch drugstores Kruidvat and Trekpleister for €2,99 each.'

Missed out on this one by Preston&Child as well. Spotted it in my town in a shop which is closing down, and I don't know the price there.

'Here some cd's and dvd's I still not own. More cd's I don't own and really want, you will find <here>.'
€7,99, available <here>.
Around €20, available in local Musicstores.

'You can also give me money, so I can build my own Nailpolish Rack. As you can tell, I have a little overflow of nailpolishes, as you maybe noticed <here>. So, I want a nailpolish rack, like these examples:'

'I hope I gave you some inspiration for my birthday, or at least for yourself.'  ^_^

Wishlists ~ Christmas 2012 Wishlist

'Christmas is lurking around the corner, so it's time for an random Christmas Wishlist. Today it is the perfect day to make one, cause we had snow here in Holland. I'm not sure how happy I am with snow, cause off course, the snow was wet and one big sloppy mess on the streets. Typically Dutch weather. Anyway, let's get on to this wishlist.'

'I mentioned these two books earlier in my Book Wishlist. Wintertime is the perfect time to read a lot, so I had those two to include again. The first one is Preston&Child's Vengeance (in Dutch Koortsdroom) and the other one is Stephen King's Rage (In Dutch Razernij). Pockets retails here in Holland around €7,95 each.'

'Long on my wishlist and also perfect for Christmas is the newest album from Epica. It's called Requiem For The Indifferent, and, as an die hard Epica fan, it's a real shame that I didn't have this album all ready... Cd's retails in Holland around €20.'

'Recently discovered and also on my Wishlist for Christmas: Nicka K eyeshadow palettes. There are way more palettes and products I want from Nicka K, but seems Nicka K don't send it out to Holland yet. So I decided to include only one product picture this time. The Perfect Ten Colors Pallettes are only $3,50.'

'I had also to include a few Sleek I- Divine eyeshadow Palettes. These are way to gorgeous to keep them out of this wishlist. Sleek Palettes retails by Dutch webshop Alice&Jo for €9,99.'

'Then I included a few lipsticks. The first one is by Rimmel, and it's the Kate Moss Lipstick in 04 Royal Purple. I asked Rimmel London Nederland's Facebookpage the actual name of the lipstick, and they told me that it's called Royal Purple. The other one is by L'Oreal. The Kate Moss one is €9,50, and the L'Oreal one is around €15.'

'I'm in need for a new teapot, cause mine broke a while ago. For months now, I make my tea straight into the cup, which costs a lot of teabags. My teabags always dry up quikly, and leaves it without any more taste behind, if I want to use them more often. So time for a new teapot. I found one at my local Xenos, which is an home kind of store. They sell a lot domestic items. As you can tell from the pic, the teapot I want comes in a set with two cups and plates, and all together it's only €9,99.'

'I also spotted this chocolate fondue set at the Xenos. I always wanted an chocolate fondue set. I'm an die hard chocolate fan, so I defenately need this. This Chocolate Fondueset is €7,99, but Xenos sells their cheapest one for €5,99.'
