Reviews ~ W7 Cuticle & Nail Gel (Big Bazar)

'Today I picked up an W7 Cuticle & Nail Gel at the Big Bazar. It was totally unplanned, so I decided to do a quik review/ first impression post. Let's go.'

'The tube is simple to me, with an slim tip where the product comes out. The consistency isn't too thick or too thin, and is basicly an clear gel wich smells like flowers. That scent isn't too overpowering though. When rubbed into my cuticles, the product leaves an oily sheen to the skin, wich disappeares after a few minutes. The first thought when I used this on my cuticles was: "Wow, I need to stock up." That's a good sign right? And for the price, you can't beat it. It was only €0,99 for 15ml.'

Purchases ~ Awesome Christmas Stocking Stuffers (Big Bazar, Action)

'A recently new shop here in Holland is the Big Bazar, and I found out that they have awesome bargains. In this post I will show you my recent purchases. I also visited the Action this time.'

'First a few Big Bazar items for only €0,99 a piece. At first a Pink Tease Lipstick. I can't discover a name or number on the package, but it's an beautiful rosy shade. It doesn't have a scent to me.'

'Also for €0,99 a piece, these W7 Squeeze Me Lipglosses. I have Vamp It Up and Really Nude here. Those glosses have a brush, and I love brush lipglosses. These have a sweet cupcake scent. I like them, and for the price you can't beat it.'

'Then I also found at the Big Bazar some cool brands like Revlon, Sally Hansen, Rimmel and Maybeline for €1-3 a piece. I only picked up this Maybelinne Lipstick in Desert Bloom for only 2,99, but I planned to pick up a few Revlon Nailpolishes when they stocked it again.'

'I also visited the Action, and I found good things as well. They have temporary Rimmel and Maybeline items, all for €2,29 a piece, so I stocked up a Maybelinne Lipstick in Lilac Shimmer here. Love this color for layering over another lipstick. In the past I owned this lipstick, till now, I couldn't find it anymore. Glad I found it again.'

Projects ~ Different Ways Of Wearing W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette

'Finally I did some looks with my W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette, wich I wrote an purchase with swatches post about it <here>. To give you girls an idea how it looks on the eyes, I used the palette in 4 different looks. So here we go.'

'1st Eyes : Inner corner I used colour #8, on the outer V I used color #10 and under my brows I used color #1. All from this W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette.'
 1st eyes Creamy/ Lilac

'2nd Eyes: Inner corner I used color #2, outer V I used color #3 and under my brows color #9.'
2nd eyes Grey/ Pink (the darkest one isn't an black in my opinion, it's darkgrey)

'3rd Eyes: Inner corner I used color #5, outer V I used color #4, and under my brows I used color #1.'
 3rd eyes Blue's

'4th Eyes: Inner corner I used color #6, outer V I used color #7, and under my brow I used color #8.'
4th eyes Copper/ Natural

Conclusion
'First thing is: the best way to apply the shadows is dabbing the colors in an pressing motion on the lid. Better not smear or drag the color, cause the shadows are easily falling of the brush, and when smearing you get "holes" in your look, so like Eyes #2 and #3. That's probably because of the consistensy, wich isn't that powdery.
Another thing is to use maybe one or two colors in the same look, no more. Best way to make it look nice is to combine this palette with other brands, because I found out that it blends not easy away, and the result is very shimmery if you use only this palette in one look. But if you are an blending expert with a lot of patient and time, go ahead and use just only this palette in the same look. I'm defenately going to play around more with this palette.'

Purchases ~ W7 Cosmetics 10 Out Of 10 Palette + MUA Comparison

'A couple of days back, I'd asked the Youtube Nail Art Dolls on Facebook "Should I buy this palette by W7, the 10 Out Of 10 Palette?" Because of Google is my friend, I'd Googled for swatches and reviews on the net first, but guess what? Seems nobody did an review or blogpost yet. I also looked on Youtube, but most W7 reviews was another W7 Palette, the Paintbox with the 77 shadows. The eyeshadow reviews from W7 are mostly positive on Youtube, so I thought, just give it a shot. The W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette was only 4,99 at my Dutch local Op=Op Voordeelshop. Downside: I didn't had the opportunity to swatch the shadows at the shop. You can find this palette online <here>.'

'First time I'd digged into this palette I thought: "Somehow this remind me of the MUA eyeshadows." No wonder, W7 Cosmetics seems also an brand from the UK. Typically for an UK (shimmer) eyeshadow is the half buttery, half powdery texture. In that case the MUA shadows and W7 shadows are almost the same. I thought it should be interesting to do a little comparison between these two brands. MUA makes also palettes like this, only MUA put 12 colors in an palette, W7 10. W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette and MUA Professional Palettes are around the same price range. I don't own an MUA 12 ES palette, so I compared them to a couple of MUA's single ES. But first pics of the swatches from the W7 10 Out Of 10 Palette, because I bet you girls are curious, right?'

'And here are some of the colors compared with MUA single eyeshadows. I didn't make an comaprison for the blue ones, the pinky color, and some brown shades, because I don't own an color like these from MUA. Let's take a look.'

'GlitterKitty's Conclusion: Not an bad palette, but not the best either. If I had to choose on this point between MUA and W7, it should be MUA. The browns/ nudes, pink, and lilac from this W7 palette are the best pigmented. The grey and black are okay, but could be better. The white is the worst out of the bunch, so if you are looking for an good white eyeshadow, or colors for making an hot smokey eye, you could better skip this palette. Personally I bought this one for the blues and the lilac, so it's okay to me. I could be happy with it. If you are an browns and nudes lover, you can defenately give this palette an shot. I have so many browns and nudes allready, so for these colors I didn't bought the palette. I think these browns and nudes are pretty though. Especially with an good primer underneath, this palette is worth trying. I will make an eye look post with this palette, so stay tuned for that. For the price I can't complain.'
