Projects ~ Nailpolish Clean Out January 2014 : Regular Nailpolishes

'Also it's time to put on another Nailpolish Clean out, this time I will disguss a few regular nailpolishes, wich I don't use anymore, or just spoil too much. Here they are.'

'First two polishes I tossed out, are colours from Paris Memmories, a brand from, far as I know, Belgium. The stainpower is really crappy, you need at least 4-5 coats. I have these ones for ages, and I never reach for them. Time to let them go.
Next are two old Rimmel ones. The chocolate one is allready seperating, so these are also ready for the garbage.
Lastly, this Safari one. I got this one not so long ago, and is with that the youngest I have to toss out. This polish thickened up so badly, it's not even funny, so byebye as well.'

'Then two very, very very ancient kind of Sally Hansen Bottles. I used these a lot, and I really liked these, but... it's time to go. Cause they really smell old.  Still no tears, Big Bazar is selling Sally Hansen sometimes...'

'Then I few very old Action Nailpolishes. The black one is dried up after all those years, the yellow one I reviewed <here>, and will be handed over to somebody else.'

'Lastly a couple of polishes I will also handing over to people on Facebook soon. If I don't giveaway every now and then polishes, I will drown into nailpolish, lol. The brands are KOH, Rimmel and John F. Gee.'

Projects ~ Nailpolish Cleanout January 2014 : Top Coats & Base Coats

'I decided to do another clean out. My last clean out was in January last year for eyeshadows, and I didn't one for nailpolishes in a while. For now I only tossed out a few very, very, very old base and topcoats. Let's take a look into this.'

'First goopyness bottle is a topcoat by OPI. To be honest, this bottle is at least five years old, and one big blob in the bottle. I do like the basecoat from OPI more, cause the basecoat I own from OPI is just as old as the topcoat: at least five years.
Then we have a top and basecoat from LA Colors. I got this also a long while back, when winning an Nail Art Contest. Loads of the product spill in the package, so this one was messy very quikly. The liquid is very hard to get out of the bottle, so for this one it's time to go as well.
Then two Catrice products from their old range. I'm kinda sad that I have to let go their Nail Expert Basecoat, cause finally this thing became goopy. I really like the smoothening formula of this. Only thickness is coming out of the bottle right now. The other Nail Expert product is the Grow Support. This thing stinks, and is no fun to use anymore.
Lastly an Matte Topcoat from Essence. Just used this two times, and now it's thickening in the bottle. I'm not a big big fan of matte nails, so this have to go too. I still try to use my Catrice Matte Topcoat. We will see how far that one goes.'

Projects ~ Eye Make Up Clean Out Januari 2013

'A new year, a new start. Which means also a little clean out for some of my eye make up. Especially I try to get rid of eye shadows which are spoiled, hard to use, or I simply never reach for them. Just take a look, and let's make some space.'

'I start off with these 3 palettes of Max Cosmetics, which are available at the Dutch Action for only €0,75 each. The colors I want to get rid of are Jasmine, Lily and Lotus, cause I have better blues then Jasmine, and nicer purples, corals and whites like Lily. But the worst pigment has Lotus. The colors from that trio doesn't even show up on my lids. Overall are these shadows a little granular, so you have also fall out. For swatches you can always check <here>, <here>,  and <here>.'

'The other eye shadows are mostly by Catrice, and purchased mostly back in 2010/ 2011. The Papagena Birds Of A Feather Palette doesn't show up on my lids, and the yellow in it became greasy as you maybe noticed. It was €4,49, a real miss. You can check my earlier review on Youtube <here>.
The other 3 Mono shadows are Sunny We Love you, which is very granular, and not so pigmented. It falls off my lids very easily too. The blue one is called Ocean's 14, and creases quikly on my lids. It's also hard to blend. The last one is a purple one and called Heidi Plum. The package looks really nasty as you can see. This color also creases really bad on me and is also hard to blend. For these reasons I never grab these colors anymore. Besides that, I think these shadows are also spoiled. I paid for the single Catrice shadows €2,79, but Catrice raised the price of these shadows to €2,89. I don't want to purchase Catrice's newest single colors, cause sometimes they are a hit, and sometimes a miss.'

'I also decided to get rid of two liquid eyeliners. Liquid eyeliners doesn't work that great on my lids, I'm always in a fight with them. I like to use more the liners with an Japanese felt tip. I can't remember the price of the Catrice one, but it's all dried out. The Yves Rocher one is very thick and gloppy. It made my eyes a little heavy, and doesn't slide on that smooth. It came free in one of my Yves Rocher packages.'

'Last Eye Make Up I want to toss out, are these very old Long Lasting Eye Liner Pens by Catrice. Catrice discontinued these back in 2010, and I believe I purchased these way back in 2008 or 2009. Again, I can't remember the price of them. Colors are Talk Is Silver! and Puddle Of Mudd. These are so old, these doesn't even give you loads of color, and if they come off, they give you nice, granular pieces under the eyes. ^_^ Time to get rid of them, because they are very spoiled. I never reached for them now and in the past also. I don't own a lot of eye pencils, cause mostly I draw my eyeliner on with an thin brush and an eyeshadow color of my choice.'

'That's all I need to toss out. I'm glad that I'm very careful with purchasing make up, cause I don't want to spend my money on stuff I can't use. It's not my kind of hobby to waste things. Anyway. Happy that I don't have loads of clean outs till now.'

Projects ~ Nailpolish Cleanout Februari 2012

'Once in a while, I try to have an stash clean out. Products or items wich are spoiled, broken, or too nasty for giving them away, simply said products I never want to use again after trying them, are exit collection. Sometimes I will give those items away, but sometimes not. This time I cleaned out some very old, bad, dried out, or gloppy nailpolishes. By the way, I not opened these polishes for this post, cause else I have it everywhere, since these polishes aren't that fresh anymore.'

'First I want to clean out these two nailpolishes, both Dutch brands. First is from Drugstore DA, wich I have a long long while now. I used this one a couple of times, and exally I liked this polish. Coverage is great, stainpower is okay, but the consistency became thick. Therefore, DA changed their nailpolish range maybe a while ago, so I think it's time to get rid of this one. And I have way too many purples in my collection also, so yeah... The yellow one is from an company called Hema, and this polish also became thick. This polish is one wich doesn't dry very quikly, wich I hate in an nailpolish. I have this an long time too. And I collected many yellows the past years, so exit for this one as well.'

'Next up are these stripers from LA Colors Art Deco Liners. I got these at the beginning of 2009, I know that, because it was one of my last times I used my old Paypal account. Reason for cleaning these ones out is because they are so so gloppy and thick. I used the red one lastly in this video, and it was an pain in the *** to get everything smooth.'

'Then we have these Sally Hansen Diamonth Strenght No Chip Nailpolishes. These one I have a little longer then my stripers, same reason for cleaning them out: they are so so thick... it's literally pooh on my nails. Yuck. Before I took a pic of these, I opened them, and as you might see, it became an real mess on the cap. So bye bye on these ones also.'

'Up are these polishes by MNY. I cleaned these yellow and white color out because they're junk. Both nailpolishes need at least 6 coats to get them nice, and after so much time for waiting till it's dry, it chips the same day, no matter if I used an good topcoat. Waste of time and money. I still do have a couple of other polishes of MNY wich I will give another change for simple nail art like small dots or something, but it's defenately not one of my favorite brands.'

'I think this is it for now. If I find more things to clean out, I will post it here to share my findings about it with you. I hope this was helpfull.'
