Purchases ~ A few Catrice Cosmetics thingies

'A couple of days/ weeks ago there was a discount of 30% for the Catrice Cosmetics stuffies at my local Dutch drugstore Trekpleister. So I grab the opportunity, and bought a few things. I can't tell you exactly how much I spent, cause I lost my receipt.'

'Anyway. First thing I defenately needed was a new mascara, so I picked up this "Our best volume ever" mascara. I didn't try it out yet, but here are some pics of the brush.'

'Next one I picked up is this Lipappeal Lipgloss in #120 Berry Good. This Lipgloss was a while ago on my Catrice Cosmetics Wishlist. I love this soft purple color. I wore this allready a few times over an purple lipstick, and it looked great. Here are some pics and the swatch of it.'

'Next are a couple of Precision Lipliners and a Precision Eyeliner. I'm happy with both. You could, like the package says, make very precise lines. I like the subtile result. It finishes your look, or it makes your lipstick last longer without an harsh line around your mouth. Again, here are some pictures.'
Seriously. I had to rub hard to get it off...

'And this was it allready. Very tiny purchase, but I love the stuffies I got. Hope you liked it, and have a nice day.' ^_^

'Pics are taken by myself on my way too small make up dresser at night.'

Purchases ~ Catrice Limited Edition Big City Life

'After a long hunt in my 'city', I finally found Catrice latest Limited Edition Big City Life. Seriously, I walked by everyday past two weeks in my 3 local Dutch drugstores: my two Trekpleisters and my big Kruidvat above my huge grocerystore, where only people from all around my district doing their groceries.'
'I end up at my huge Kruidvat, and bought the whole collection with an major discount. I paid for the whole lot €24,66 instead of €37,96 wich is in my opinion amazing. If you bought two products you got an discount of 35%. On to the products itself.'
London Palette
Berlin Palette
Sydney Palette
New York Palette

'I love my Big City Life eye and cheek palettes... Sydney and New York are my favorites. Most eyeshadow colours are very shimmery, but I like them a lot. Every palette contains two blushes and six eyeshadows The package of these palettes reminds me of Urban Decay palettes. The texture is soft and very smooth to apply. And the pigmentation is very good too. Every eyeshadow/ blush kit comes with an little eye pencil and spongetip applicator, wich is cute. Now I need to see how long they last, so I need to give that a try. They are €6,99 at full price each. Moving on to their Nailpolishes.'

'These nailpolishes reminds me of colours from Catrice's regular line. However, I love these colours. I can't find some good dupes for them from Catrice's regular line right now, but I'm sure they excist. On the pictures I did two swatches on a white practise nail, so the coverage seems to be oke. These nailpolishes are quik dry. I can't say anything about chipping and lasttime right now. They are €2,49 each at full price.'

Note:
'Excuse me for my crappy pictures on some points. Pictures are taken on my way too small make up dresser at daylight.' ^_^

Purchases ~ Sleek Make Up Order Alice & Jo Online Beautystore

'A couple of days ago I placed an order by Dutch webshop Alice & Jo Online Beautystore. Oh my, I fell in love with this Online Beautystore, because they have great and clear swatches of most products and if you place an order, you get it within 3 days if you live in the Netherlands. I have no idea if they send orders worldwide, but to be honest I guess not. Alice & Jo have an big selection of Sleek Make Up and Barry M. My eye fell also on an cheap nailpolish brand called Attitude, wich I planned to order next time. My first purchase came today, and consist only Sleek Make Up, because if there's one brand I defenately need to try then it's Sleek.'
'My first order isn't crazy much, but like I said, it's a try. Offcourse I could have order way more this first order, but you never know if it is really worth it. Shipping is only €2,95 every order within Holland no matter how much you order, so that wasn't a real big deal for me.'
'First thing I had to order was this Sleek Au Naturel Palette. First thought about this palette was"Wow, this palette is really small for holding 12 eyeshadows and a 'huge' mirror... me I like for traveling." Offcourse, it was raining outside today, so it was really hard to make some good swatches... if you want me to make good swatches later on, please leave me a comment. Sleek Palettes at Alice & Jo costs €7,95, wich is pretty cheap for 12 eyeshadow colours.'
'Second and last thing I ordered is this Sleek True Colour Sheen Lipstick in Peaches&Cream. A Youtube Guru raged about this lipstick, so I had to pick it up. At Alice & Jo a Sleek True Colour Sheen Lipstick costs €6,50. I believe they got also regular Sleek True Colour Lipsticks, wich costs €4,50 and Sleek True Colour Matte Lipsticks wich are also €6,50 a piece. It's a little more expensive then my Catrice Lipsticks, but it's not horribly more expensive then other way too expensive brands. (like Chanel, YSL or Dior). So I like the price range of Sleek.'

'Excuse me for my dry lips in the last swatch picture. I did one coat of lipstick here, I think you need at least two coats. Trust me it looks way better when my lips are healed. I think this colour will fit every skintone, and it's an great colour for summertime. It's not too heavy or bright. So far my first order from Alice & Jo Online Beautystore. I planned to order defenately more goodies from this Online Beautystore, and I planned a wishlist. So please stay tuned for that if you're curious about my other Alice & Jo picks.'

Note:
'Excuse me a lot for the crappy pictures sometimes. I know, I need to get rid of that bloody red background, but it's the only place at my home with a lot of space to make pics. Logo Alice & Jo isn't my copyright, I screenshotted it from Alice & Jo Online Beautystore.'  ^_^

Favorites ~ Catrice Ultimate Shine Lipsticks

'The last time I had an Favorite blogpost, I talked about the Catrice Ultimate Colour Lipsticks and the Catrice Colourshow Lipglosses. Today we're going to talk about the Catrice Ultimate Shine Lipsticks. I also like these lipsticks, but it seems these lipsticks last less longer then the Ultimate Colour Lipsticks. Ultimate Shine Lipsticks could be used up to 18 months, while the Ultimate Colour ones could be used up to 36 months, and that while they have the same price wich is €4 each in my drugstore.'

'Here a pic with the 8 shades I own. This kind of shades makes it really hard to photograph them... even the package is hard to get on pic. Anyway, here are my 3 favorite Ultimate Shine Lipsticks.'
1 #040 Berry Me! (photo 3 is the real colour, swatch is close too)
2 #050 Simply Rosewood (hmmm, I forgot to make a close up of the stick... but the swatch is good)
3 #090 Foxnox (swatch and pic 2 seems to be the true colour)

'Berry Me! did I backed up allready, it's for sure my favorite of the bunch. I don't need to back up Simply Rosewood yet, cause I own 02 Elisabeth from the Urban Baroque Collection. But if I finished the back ups from that colour I want to back up Simply Rosewood for sure. Fox Nox is also a favorite but I'm not for sure if I get through it. I'm not wearing a lot coral/ peachy/ copper kind of colours and if I do in summertime. Maybe I should wear that kind of colours in Fall too. Anyhow, here are my other colours I own in no particular order.'
#020 Metal Dust
# 030 Rose 'n Gun (picture 3 and the swatch are good)
#170 Play The Plum (again picture 3 and the swatch is also pretty close)
#100 Falling Leaves (very orange here, in real life there's more a hint of copper)
#140 Stoplight (true colour picture 3)

'Like I said, these shades are very hard to photograph. They smell like vanilla, wich is oke. Stoplight is discontinued so far as I know. There should be more shades discontinued, but I don't know wich colours are also discontinued. Like I said, these lipsticks retail also for €4 wich is a good price. However, I like the Ultimate Colour Lipsticks more, cause these last longer in time for the same price.'

Note:
'Excuse me very much for the crappy pics on some points. I need to get rid of that bloody red background. *sigh* I'm working on that.' ^_^
