Projects ~ My Halloween Look 2013

'I know, I know... this one is way too late up, but better late as never... ^_^ For my Halloween Look I used a Wynie Palette, which I reviewed <here>. Lipstick is by MUA LipBoom in Let Me Know, without the gloss. Used mascara and a black Eyeshadow by NYX for my liner.'

(Nail Art) Prizes / Giveaways ~ Thanks Make Up Academy (MUA)

'On Facebook there was a Sweeptakes kinda thing going on, and MUA, or Make Up Academy gave 1000 make uppies away, plus the change to win an awesome invitation to come to the MUA Towers and choose a lipstick color for their upcoming line. I didn't win the invitation, but MUA surprised me today with a mini package, containing a Out There Plumping Lipgloss in Buff. Offcourse I did try it out, and here are my thoughts on the gloss.'

'I didn't try any lip plumping products so far, so this one by MUA is my very first. Oh my paws, this thing thingles on my lips, and after the swatch on my lips, I decided to put it off. Not that I needed bigger lips, lolzz, but hey at least the color is nice and wearable. Maybe I need to try it out when my lips are less dry like you can see on the picture. I'm not sure if my lips are bigger after using it, so I'm going to try this thing when my lips are healed. On the MUA shop this gloss retails for €2,38 at the moment.'

Projects ~ The Mysterious Mermaid

'For my Mysterious Mermaid look I got inspired by my Essence Choose Me! Color&Go nailpolish, which I recently won at an Bingo with friends. This color isn't available anymore, but Essence polishes you can buy at the Dutch drugstore Kruidvat. I am a little affraid of Essence nailpolishes, because they extremely stained my nails in the past, so I painted it as an accent nail on my ring finger only. I used another teal mini nailpolish by Max, which is available at the Dutch Action. I also created little mysterious eyes along with it. Here is the complete inspiration.'

'First my nails. Here is where the whole idea for my eyes started also. Painted al my nails in the mini Nailpolish by Max, which doesn't have a name of number. It came in a little set, <here> is my post about the Max mini nailpolishes. On my ring finger I used for a little accent Essence Color&Go in Choose Me! over it.'

'Then my eyes. After an eyeshadow base, I used MUA single eyeshadow in Shade 8 all over my lid, blended with the 2nd  color at the first row of my Runway Palette by NYX. From the same palette I used the black, first color first row in my outer V, very well blended off course. Under my brows I used from my Glamour Days palette by MUA, color 4 at the first row. The same black eyeshadow I used in my outer V is also used as an eyeliner on my waterline. Completed my eyes with mascara, and that's it. I bought my MUA products online <here> and my NYX palettes <here>.'

Projects ~ Halloween Eyes In The Middle Of May

'One of my friends gave an Halloween Themed Party in the middle of May, so I decided to do an Halloween Eye Look. I used mainly my MUA Glamour Days Palette.'

'I used the purple all over my lid, and in the crease the dark matte brown, 2nd row, 4th color. For highlighter I used an matte white and the transition color between the dark brown and white is the 3rd color from the second row. Finished it off with the same brown under my waterline, along with black eyeliner and mascara.'

Projects ~ Merry Christmas Eyes

'Here's a post with the eye make up I whore on Christmas. I choose for a red eyeshadow along with greenish- black.'

'So here are a few products I used.'

1. 

'After applying a eyeshadowbase, I dabbed this red eyeshadow all over the lid by Catrice. It's in Spiced Red and this was an Limited Edition back in 2010.'

'In the crease and under my waterline I blended #15 from my Wynie Palette #01.'

'Under my brows I used this white from my 28 Neutrals palette.'

'Finished the look with my eyepencil on the waterline and mascara. I think my eyes match nicely with my nails now.'

Projects ~ MUA (Make Up Academy) Nailpolish in Shade 7

'I'm going to wear this reddish shade by MUA (Make Up Academy) for Christmas. I want to keep it simple. Around Christmas it's always too hectic to worry about my nails. I think I´m going to use a gold glitter striper later on, if I want to make it more fun. For now, here´s MUA´s shade 7.'

Projects ~ Let It Snow Eyes With Mostly Single ES

'It's snowy here in Holland, and for Holland snow is almost an miracle. It's an wet kind of snow, and when I woke up, the whiteness welcomes me. Miss Snow Queen inspired me to make an Let It Snow eye look with some single eyeshadows. So let's get started.'

'First apply your eyeshadow base (I used one by Essence) and then I applied the colors I used to create this this look. If you don't have exactly the same singles I have, try to find some look- a- likes or you can try whatever colors you like.'

1.

'I used MUA single eyeshadow in shade 4 with an flat eyeshadow brush all over my lid, where it hits my crease.'

2.

'With the same brush I placed this Wynie eyeshadow in Nr.72 in my crease above shade 4, but not against my brows.'

3.

'With another flat brush I swiped some pearly white eyeshadow from my 28 Neutrals Palette under my brows. I blended it slightly together with the Wynie eyeshadow.'

'Now with an eyelinerbrush, draw a line under your waterline with the same Wynie eyeshadow in Nr.72. Place your black eyepencil on your waterline, and put on your mascara.' 

4. 

'For the lips I choose this Cream Lipstick by Yves Rocher in Rose.'

'If you feel to, you can use some foundation, BB Cream or powder to make your face complete. Here's an full face pic of how this looks on me.'
