(Nail Art) Prizes/ Giveaways - Thanks Kruidvat and Catrice

'Somewhere in August I won a Catrice set with all new Fall season make uppies in there. This giveaway was on the Dutch Kruidvat Facebookpage. Omg, I'm feeling so lucky, cause I found two of their new Ultimate Laquer The Next Level polishes in the bag as well. Oh, how I love their polishes... I know, I didn't even do nailpolish swatches from their Summer 2015 shades, and I apologize, but I wasn't really in the mood to blog that much on here lately. I can't promise anything, but let's hope that will change. Aaaanyway, let's get into the video I made from this prize and their pics....'

Purchases ~ Awesome Christmas Stocking Stuffers (Big Bazar, Action)

'A recently new shop here in Holland is the Big Bazar, and I found out that they have awesome bargains. In this post I will show you my recent purchases. I also visited the Action this time.'

'First a few Big Bazar items for only €0,99 a piece. At first a Pink Tease Lipstick. I can't discover a name or number on the package, but it's an beautiful rosy shade. It doesn't have a scent to me.'

'Also for €0,99 a piece, these W7 Squeeze Me Lipglosses. I have Vamp It Up and Really Nude here. Those glosses have a brush, and I love brush lipglosses. These have a sweet cupcake scent. I like them, and for the price you can't beat it.'

'Then I also found at the Big Bazar some cool brands like Revlon, Sally Hansen, Rimmel and Maybeline for €1-€3 a piece. I only picked up this Maybelinne Lipstick in Desert Bloom for only €2,99, but I planned to pick up a few Revlon Nailpolishes when they stocked it again.'

'I also visited the Action, and I found good things as well. They have temporary Rimmel and Maybeline items, all for €2,29 a piece, so I stocked up a Maybelinne Lipstick in Lilac Shimmer here. Love this color for layering over another lipstick. In the past I owned this lipstick, till now, I couldn't find it anymore. Glad I found it again.'

(Nail Art) Prizes / Giveaways ~ Thanks Make Up Academy (MUA)

'On Facebook there was a Sweeptakes kinda thing going on, and MUA, or Make Up Academy gave 1000 make uppies away, plus the change to win an awesome invitation to come to the MUA Towers and choose a lipstick color for their upcoming line. I didn't win the invitation, but MUA surprised me today with a mini package, containing a Out There Plumping Lipgloss in Buff. Offcourse I did try it out, and here are my thoughts on the gloss.'

'I didn't try any lip plumping products so far, so this one by MUA is my very first. Oh my paws, this thing thingles on my lips, and after the swatch on my lips, I decided to put it off. Not that I needed bigger lips, lolzz, but hey at least the color is nice and wearable. Maybe I need to try it out when my lips are less dry like you can see on the picture. I'm not sure if my lips are bigger after using it, so I'm going to try this thing when my lips are healed. On the MUA shop this gloss retails for €2,38 at the moment.'

WishLists ~ Small Catrice Lippie Wishes

'When Catrice discontinued their Colourshow Lipglosses, I cried. These lipglosses are one of my favorite lipglosses, and believe me, I don't have loads of favorite lipglosses, cause I'm more an lipstick person.'

'Now, Catrice came out with their newest lip glosses, the Infinite Shine Lipgloss. My eye went caught by a few colors I want to try. Hopefully they cover my lips really well, like the Colourshow glosses did. The Infinite Shine Lipglosses should be €2,99.'

Purchases ~The Three Lipketeers : NYC Liquid Lipshine, Nivea Gloss Wonderbalm and Baolishi Lipstick

'I started this month with an lippie kick. I had to pick up a few different lip items this first december weekend. I tried to get away with all the Dutch commotion about Sinterklaas, but it failed clearly. I almost  bump onto him at our local grocery mall, grrr. Sinterklaas is an celebration for little children here in Holland. Jups, all those little children should be spoiled on december 5th night with presents and what we called "taai taai", "pepernoten", and candy. After december 5th, we start of with decorating the house for Christmas. In America they have Thanksgiving, Dutchies have Sinterklaas.' ^_^

'Okay, without any further ado, here are my brand new lippies, please welcome them in my lippie family.'

'The first lippie I purchased, was a NYC Liquid Lipshine in Brighton Beach Peach. I have this gloss for a while on my wishlist now, and I thought it should be time for picking it up. Brighton Beach Peach is an slight shimmery coral lipcolor with an hint of an golden sheen. The gloss comes with an applicator, and as you can tell, it's very natural looking on the lips. To me it smells like coconut which I like. The consistency feels very soft, not sticky and I think it looks very nice over coral, peachy or orange lipsticks. It was €2,99 at my local Trekpleister. I hope we get more shades of the NYC Liquid Lipshines, because I want to pick up some more colors.'

'Second lippie I purchased was this Nivea Gloss Wonderbalm in Berry Balm, which I didn't plan on buying it. I literal walked into the Action, and walk against these. First I had my doubts. Some packages aroused some suspicion, cause the consistency looked rotten and stared wickedly to me. Lucky for me I found an sealed package with an smooth looking consistency. It have an soft smell, and it comes in an squeezy tube. It gives me very sheer lips with an minimal berry color, which looks great over (purple) lipsticks. It was €1,29, and I'm thinking of pick up some more in my other local Action. (We have at least 3 Actions here).'

'Then, I couldn't help myself to give my local 1001 Voordeelshop another visit. I picked another Baolishi 24H Lipstick, this time in shade 11 an summery pink color. The Baolishi Lipsticks smells really fruity to me, and these lipsticks last me an surprisely long time. The best part, they are only €1,50, all though you need to like this very girlie, with a wink to little girls package. I thought it's cute, but what really matters is the product. I reviewed #5 <here>, and find my earlier purchase <here>. I googled around a little, and Baolishi makes other kind of lipsticks, so I hope 1001 Voordeelshop stock up on other Baolishi Lipsticks in the future, so that I can try those as well.'

Purchases ~ Catrice Limited Edition Nymphelia Lip Color Cream in Blossom

'Because I'm allowed to write as an freelance concert reporter at the local broadcasting company, I pampered myself to buy something new. That something became an Nymphelia Lip Colour Cream in Blossom. Nymphelia is Catrice's last came out Limited Edition at the moment.'

'Blossom is an beautiful peachy opaque looking color in the tube, but I came across a few dissappointments. First thing is the applicator. I really hoped that the applicator should be a brush, but it's an standard spongetip applicator, wich Catrice allready carry in their selection. Second is how it came out on the lips. Coverage isn't that good, it came out very sheer on my lips. Byebye opaqueness. Third thing is the lastingpower. It doesn't last very long on my lips, longest time is 30 minutes. The scent disappeared within 15 minutes.'

'However, I do have a couple of good things. First I really like the color how it is in the tube. Second is the scent. It smells like the standard winegum flower scent, wich I like. Third thing I like is the fact that it isn't sticky at all. (what explains why it last not so long on the lips) It is an soft consistency, but not really a cream. In a word, it's not what I expect from a opaque looking lipcream. This is an Limited Edition, and it retails for €3,79. And another thing: this product reminds me of the Revlon lipglosses. I think I had an better buy when I bought a couple of new Catrice nailpolish shades. I'm trying to get my hands on all the new came out Ultimate Laquers at the moment, so I work on an seperated post for them.'

Purchases ~ A few Catrice Cosmetics thingies

'A couple of days/ weeks ago there was a discount of 30% for the Catrice Cosmetics stuffies at my local Dutch drugstore Trekpleister. So I grab the opportunity, and bought a few things. I can't tell you exactly how much I spent, cause I lost my receipt.'

'Anyway. First thing I defenately needed was a new mascara, so I picked up this "Our best volume ever" mascara. I didn't try it out yet, but here are some pics of the brush.'

'Next one I picked up is this Lipappeal Lipgloss in #120 Berry Good. This Lipgloss was a while ago on my Catrice Cosmetics Wishlist. I love this soft purple color. I wore this allready a few times over an purple lipstick, and it looked great. Here are some pics and the swatch of it.'

'Next are a couple of Precision Lipliners and a Precision Eyeliner. I'm happy with both. You could, like the package says, make very precise lines. I like the subtile result. It finishes your look, or it makes your lipstick last longer without an harsh line around your mouth. Again, here are some pictures.'

Seriously. I had to rub hard to get it off...
