Reviews ~ Finished Products December 2013

'Last time this year: My finished products of the month. I didn't finished loads at this point, but I have a few products wich have a little bit left in their packages, so I want to include these in January. Let's get started.'

'First thing is my Etos (Dutch drugstore) Handcream. It was around €2, and I really liked it. It's so soft and smooth and the smell is pleasant.
Then, two lipsticks. First is a NYX Round Lipstick in Stone, and I pay around €1 for it. The other lipstick is an old one by Catrice in Indian Brown. No idea what I paid for it, and that doesn't matter anymore, cause those are discontinued.
Off course I finished an Yves Rocher Lipbalm in Coconut. It was around €1, catalogue price is €2,50. It's the lipbalm I like to use the most.
Lastly a nailfile, which came in a pack of 5 pieces for €0,49. I'm not sure about the nailfiles from the Action. So far, this one did the job.'

Purchases ~ Needfull Things For The New Year

'Yesterday I picked up the last needfull things, things I really need, because I really run out of. I visited the Action and Big Bazar.'

Random Messages ~ (A Very Late) Ho ho ho... 2013

'I'm so sorry for these late Christmas wishes! I was so busy during the week before Christmas, cause I was voluntering at Serious Request 2013 in my town.... It was all about the Glass House here...' 

'After that we had to do the Christmas groceries very quikly, and during that I became sneezy... still not felling better, and now we're also need to think of the Newyear's groceries and stuff... We litterly put the balls in our tree at Christmas itself, omfgh.'

'Anyway, I hope you had an awesome Christmas... If I do not speak to you here, I want to wish you an healthy 2014 also.'

Purchases ~ Awesome Christmas Stocking Stuffers (Big Bazar, Action)

'A recently new shop here in Holland is the Big Bazar, and I found out that they have awesome bargains. In this post I will show you my recent purchases. I also visited the Action this time.'

'First a few Big Bazar items for only €0,99 a piece. At first a Pink Tease Lipstick. I can't discover a name or number on the package, but it's an beautiful rosy shade. It doesn't have a scent to me.'

'Also for €0,99 a piece, these W7 Squeeze Me Lipglosses. I have Vamp It Up and Really Nude here. Those glosses have a brush, and I love brush lipglosses. These have a sweet cupcake scent. I like them, and for the price you can't beat it.'

'Then I also found at the Big Bazar some cool brands like Revlon, Sally Hansen, Rimmel and Maybeline for €1-€3 a piece. I only picked up this Maybelinne Lipstick in Desert Bloom for only €2,99, but I planned to pick up a few Revlon Nailpolishes when they stocked it again.'

'I also visited the Action, and I found good things as well. They have temporary Rimmel and Maybeline items, all for €2,29 a piece, so I stocked up a Maybelinne Lipstick in Lilac Shimmer here. Love this color for layering over another lipstick. In the past I owned this lipstick, till now, I couldn't find it anymore. Glad I found it again.'

Purchases ~ First NYX Nailpolish in Fierce Purple

'Time for showing my first NYX Nailpolish in Fierce Purple. Here in Holland you can get NYX at the Douglas, and the nailpolishes are €4,95.' 

'The quality is good. I made my swatches with two coats. Brush is slim, consistency is not thick, not thin. One coat is fine, but could be a little strikey. Not sure if I want to purchase again, but maybe only this color needs 3 coats. It doesn't bother me that much. I love this color and that 'll make it worth to me.'

Purchases ~ New Shape Nailpolish Bottles from Wynie

'Remember this picture?'

'That's right, I posted this picture past month, and now it's time to show you my new shape Nailpolish Bottles from Wynie in depth. And after my little first purchase, I went a little nuts. I went back to my local 1001 Voordeelshop and picked a few more. Just a few:'

'I'm such an bad girl. ^_^ However, I swatched them, and I need to say that Wynie also improved their formula a bit. All these swatches are done with just one layer.... I'm very impressed. The drytime is okay. The minty green dried on my nails in 10 minutes. The coverage is briliant, you can get away with one coat by most colors, specially if you don't have that big nails like I used here. The only color wich is a little strikey is the froggy green one here. And another little note: it's not necessary to put on a big blob. It dries quikly, but when you use a big blob, you can easily whipe the polish off your nails. So make sure you wipe the brush pretty good before applying, cause even when you think less product won't cover it that well, trust me, you don't need too much. With that said, let's show you the swatches. I wore #679 and #611 allready, and #611 is the perfect ashy lilac to me. To give you also an idea of the coverage on natural nails, I took a picture of #679 on my nails. I used only one coat on my natural nails too.'

'Overal I think Wynie improved these polishes very well. The price are the same, only €1,50 a piece, a real bargain for such an good product. Defenately go back and pick up some of the pearly/ glittery colors. They do also have a packed full of glittery pink, so I will check on that one again. I also think these new package is better. They do remind me a bit of the Sinful Colors Bottles, except for the caps. I liked the old gradient caps, but these are a little more practical to storage...'

Purchases ~ Essence Long Lasting Lipstick #07 Natural Beauty

'Here's a better close up from my not so long ago purchased Essence Long Lasting Lipstick in #07 Natural Beauty. I love these lipsticks from Essence, finally it's not all glitter bomb for their lipsticks. I also purchased a Basecoat from Essence, but I forgot to make a close up picture, so that's why I post the official first picture with all my recent purchases again.'

Reviews ~ Finished Products November 2013

'Holy moly, time goes so fast, it isn't even funny. Another month gone, time for my Finished Products. I do have a few, but not the world. Let's peek into it.'

I finished my herb shampoo first. It's just a regular one from my local drugstore Trekpleister. I bought once 3 for €2, I don't know how much you pay normally for one. This is also my last bottle, I purchased this a long while back, and I can't remember when I mentioned this. Probably I forgot to post the actual purchase.
Next is a Albert Heijn Grocery Store Stress Less showergel. It's around €1,50 (I got it for free) and very nice and relaxing.
All the other items are samples. First is a FA Sport Showergel for women. I don't sport so often (I only make walks) but this showergel was nice. Then less visible on the pic, a shampoo sample from L'Oreal Elvive and a YSL Foundation sample. Don't care much for the shampoo, but this YSL Foundation really rocks... If I ever earn enough money one day, I will defenately purchase it. Not cool that I live on a small budget at the moment...'

'I did several mini purchases this month. However, I didn't find some time to dive into these products, so I will get into these items next month... hopefully. I have new polishes from the 1001 Voordeelshop, my first NYX Nailpolish, some Essence goodies... You will see it all soon in depth.'

'On Facebook you will find the most fancy groups. There's one in my neighborhood where you can participate in giveaways, and sometimes you win some nice things. Like this Neon Nailpolish and these cute earrings.'

'I have no clue wich brand the nailpolish is, or if this one has a name, (so far I can tell Gerard Binnard? Design Paris?) but this is my first neon polish. I never drawn into neon polishes so I will give this one a go. It came in a small Pupa make up bag, wich I think is cute as well.'

Projects ~ My Halloween Look 2013

'I know, I know... this one is way too late up, but better late as never... ^_^ For my Halloween Look I used a Wynie Palette, which I reviewed <here>. Lipstick is by MUA LipBoom in Let Me Know, without the gloss. Used mascara and a black Eyeshadow by NYX for my liner.'
