Purchases ~ Cien Make Up : Lipstick in #11 Purple Dream (Grocerystore Lidl)

'When I was at my local grocerystore Lidl, I came across an display full of Cien Make Up. Everything was only €1,99, and you had to choose from nailpolish, lipstick, lipgloss, mascara and foundation. Now I know that such things are only a short time available, and mostly you need to keep in mind that when it's gone, they don't restock. So it was a quik decision for me. I saw this display, and the next day I picked up a lipstick in #11 Purple Dream. You can say it was a non planned, impulsive idea to pick this up. Here are my thoughts about this Cien Lipstick.'
The advertisement says these lipsticks are €2,49... I really paid only 1,99 in my local Lidl.

'First the package, which reminds me of the NYX Matte Lipsticks. I don't own any of these NYX Matte Lipsticks, but you can see for yourself.'

'Purple Dream is an red based berry color. I love such colors, and I always pick up a color like this when I try a new brand for lipsticks. The scent is indescribable. It isn't scented like vanilla, but it has more a candy- ish, sweet scent to me, but it isn't a fruity scent either. If you're picky on the scent, I think this isn't for you, but so far it didn't annoy me.The swatch on my hand tells me that this is an sheer coverage, but the formula is build able on my lips.'

'Now the application. The lipstick feels really soft and smooth on my lips, but I have a feeling that this lipstick isn't a long lasting one. As you can tell from the pics, this lipstick could be bleeding, running out. Maybe if I put some concealer or foundation underneath, it will last longer, but why so much effort for a lipstick which only last one hour anyway? Maybe it's only this shade, I don't know. I don't recommend you to buy loads of these lipsticks in the first place. If you're on a budget, and you want to try out some colors, without spending too much it's oke.
There's one thing what really annoys me: There's no indication on the package of how much product you get for your €1,99, only that it's 12 months tenable, and that you have to deal with an quality product of Germany. I really wonder why they don't give you the amount of the product... Anyway. Maybe I try one of their pinks later on, but I don't think so. Better save me some money for other things...'
